00’s Nostalgia

While I was posting my last entry which found me airily dreaming about the early 00’s and the kind of love I was feeling for music, my dear friend Catilin was writing an amazing essay about how much Tara Jane ONeil’s music means to her.

It struck a chord with me as I was already in past-phase-of-life-rapture with Richard’s music and Cait’s tracing back her years to finding TJO’s music (through me of all people!) was an excellent synchronicity for me.

I’ll have my own essay about TJO in the coming months, but for now, I’ll share some more awful nostalgia images of her and band performing at the Flywheel in Easthampton, MA — sometime in the early 00’s. Maybe 2002? It was around when her “In the Sun Lines” album came out…

Anyone else feeling early 00’s nostalgia, already??
