After the post about Richard Buckner this past May, a friend and fellow attender of that fateful night in Albany in 2001 requested to hear a particular song from that evening. This cover of Joe Jackson‘s “Breaking Us in Two” was a high point of the night and is an entirely be-fitting cover for Richard.

Thank you for this! Richard is a true love of mine. I’ve been loving his ballads for more then a decade. Am convinced that I’ll never see him perform. He has so far played in the same town on the same night as my wedding and my child’s birth, along with a longer list of weird stories of happenstance. I’m happy to hear that you’ve been touched by his tunes and bright imagery.
