On Friday, August 14th, I played on the roof of the Tang Museum at Skidmore College. This show was a part of the “Upbeat on the Roof” weekly summer series which happens every Friday night. I was lucky to be the third performance that took place on the actual roof this season, since this year’s rain has forced the concert inside for a majority of the Fridays.
This show was special for me as I spent the past month writing music in mind for the outdoors. I was proud to debut four new songs, along with new arrangements for some older songs. My favorite part of the night was the late-night improvised instrumental set I played as the sun went down. A truly enjoyable evening!
